All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the product page. Prices are subject to change without notice, but we honor the price at the time of order placement.
Payment
Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processors. By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount, including applicable taxes and shipping fees.
Shipping
Shipping times and costs are displayed during checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other factors beyond our control. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
Returns and Refunds
Items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are not as described or are defective. Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all original packaging and accessories. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is defective.
Selling on Silver Cam
Product Listings
- You must accurately describe all items, including condition, defects, and included accessories
- All product images must be current and accurately represent the item for sale
- Listings must comply with our community guidelines and prohibited items policy
- We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our policies or are inaccurately described
Condition Standards
Products must be accurately graded according to our condition standards (Mint, Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor). Misrepresenting condition may result in listing removal and account suspension.
Seller Payments
Payments to sellers are processed after order completion and confirmation of delivery. Processing times may vary depending on payment method and verification requirements.
Prohibited Activities
- Selling stolen, counterfeit, or illegally obtained items
- Misrepresenting products, condition, or seller information
- Attempting to circumvent transaction fees or platform policies
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users
- Using automated systems or bots to scrape data or manipulate listings
- Infringing on intellectual property rights or trademarks
- Posting false reviews or manipulating ratings
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
Warranty and Product Condition
All products sold through Silver Cam include a 30-day warranty covering mechanical and electronic defects that occur during normal use.
What's Covered
Our warranty covers functional defects such as shutter mechanisms, light meter accuracy, film transport, and electronic component failures (for digital cameras) that manifest during normal use within 30 days of delivery.
What's Not Covered
The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, environmental factors (water, sand, fungus), impact damage, or cosmetic wear. Pre-existing conditions disclosed at the time of sale are also excluded.
Limitation of Liability
Silver Cam acts as a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed by sellers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of product descriptions or seller information. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for a specific transaction. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platform.
Intellectual Property
All content on Silver Cam, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Silver Cam or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between buyers and sellers, we encourage parties to communicate directly and attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If needed, Silver Cam may provide mediation assistance. For unresolved disputes, the matter may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or via email. Your continued use of Silver Cam after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
